“The dancers, notably Drew Holloway, Max Higgins (Max Lain), Sarah Kinch and Madilynn Bayliss, possess the physical agility to propel the fast-paced work to the emotional crescendo of the final scene. With shirts discarded, framed in a subtle black-on-black lighting design, the four performed some eye-grabbing combinations with a sophisticated ease perhaps unexpected at this stage of their development.” - Rita Clarke

“The dancers gave a mature and assured performance. Particularly noteworthy were Nikita Dakers and Max Higgins (Max Lain), in a duo that is at once expansive and abrupt. My favourite moment sees the pair sink into a deep plie that is felled without warning.” - Nina Levy
